ISO45001

ISO45001 is the occupational health and safety standard. ISO45001 was released as ISO18001  in 2007 then updated and renamed to ISO 45001 in 2018. It took ISO 9001 as the base of the standard then added the additional occupational health and safety requirements. The ISO45001 standard is not government-related and too has developed standards to ensure the health and safety and processes are in place.

Implementing an effective and robust ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management system will help your company focus on the important areas of your organization and improve safety. The processes implemented by the company will provide a solid foundation, leading to control of occupational health and safety risks and improve occupational health and safety performance. The goal of ISO45001 is to embed an occupational health and safety management system into your company.

One of the requirements of ISO 45001 is for the company to do an internal audit on their occupational health and safety system this is where Audits4U comes in. You can train your employees to be internal auditors which is costly and what usually happens is the employee doesn’t like being an auditor or they get the experience then leave your company to go somewhere else.  Audits4U will do an internal audit for your company. Don’t have time to do your supplier audits, Audits4U will audit your suppliers.

To be ISO45001 certified means to certify a company’s occupational health and safety management system processes and documentation to meet the requirements of ISO45001.
